I went to the Sands for their New Years Eve party with a group of people. Everyone had a great time! The venue was decorated beautifully, the band played great music, the service was terrific and the food was delicious. I would definitely go there again!

1/21/17 was my daughter’s Sweet 16 the Sands on Lido Beach made her affair memorable. I loved working with Dominic the Maitre D and Rachel, Manager. They both were very professional, nurturing, and beyond helpful. They allowed me to focus on my party with no worries throughout my night. The food and service was impeccable. My guests are still raving about the night and are posting pictures. We had a night to remember!!!

Just had my youngest son Ryan’s Bar Mitzvah on 06/13/15 at The Sands on Lido Beach.

First we chose this venue because the space was very open and was redone after Sandy.

We worked directly with Rachel (Manager) before the party who was very helpful and so pleasant to deal with. She has an excellent follow through with all details and ideas.

On the day of of the event Nicole (Matre D) was also quite helpful and everyone including The Sands Staff wanted to please us and make our day special.

We all found the food to be very good and all of my guests also really liked their food too!  The main dishes we had were skirt steak, salmon and a stuffed chicken. The cocktail hour food was also really good! All of our guests told us they really like the food.  What was really nice is we got to go about a month before our party to a food tasting.

Finally, our overall experience was we were very happy and would definitely recommend this place.

Thank you again The Sands on Lido for helping to make our son Ryan’s Bar Mitzvah such a special day and one we will always remember.

We celebrated our daughter’s Sweet 16 party at the Sand’s in Lido Beach on January 9, 2016. From the onset, with the help of Frank and then Rachel it was all smooth sailing. On the day of the party, Rachel and her staff did an excellent job in ensuring everything was perfect. We would definitely recommend the Sand’s at Lido to anyone who is planning an event.

First I have to start off by saying it was a bumpy road at first, but Rachel and Mike made everything well worth it in the end! We held our wedding here on September 25, 2015. It was the first and only venue we looked at and we do not have a single regret giving the Sands our business.
We had a few different managers taking care of us in the beginning which led to a few complications, but once Rachel and Mike stepped in and took over it was a smooth sailing! They are ying and yang and complete opposites and I think that’s why they work so well. Rachel is one of the most efficient hard working people I know. She crosses all of her T’s and dots her I’s and then triple double doggy checks for accuracy! I mean the woman is amazing. Mike is super easy going and makes you feel like you’ve been friends for years. He really helped calm my husband’s nerves before the ceremony and that to me says a lot! They really made the last two months of wedding planning experience a breeze.
As for the day of the wedding, everything went seamlessly perfect from start to finish. All of our guest said the food was superb and the décor outstanding! Do not believe any of these old reviews because now with Rachel and Mike running the show there, I can guarantee you are in good hands!!!!

We got married at the Sands on Lido Beach on August 29th 2015. We wanted to write a note to let you know the wonderful job Rachel, Adam and their staff did at our wedding reception. Everything was beautiful and your staff was incredibly professional! We only booked our wedding in April with Rachel and she made all our dreams come true in such a short time by giving us great suggestions and ideas; and kept us on track with all the things we needed. She is truly a gem! Adam made everything work from the lights, flowers & decoration to the DJ, MC & photographer. We were 100% satisfied with everything from start to finish!
